Mobil Terjun ke Jurang Kawasan Bromo, 4 Orang Tewas
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Peristiwa naas terjadi di kawasan Bromo Senin malam. Sebuah mobil minibus Toyota Fortuner masuk ke jurang di kawasan Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru (TNBTS) Coban Trisula, Desa Ngadas, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang, Senin (13/5/2024) sekitar pukul 18.50 WIB.
Mobil tersebut berpenumpang berjumlah sembilang orang, empat diantaranya dilaporkan tewas di tempat kejadian.
Dalam mobil tersebut terdiri dari 3 orang anak-anak dan 6 orang dewasa. Polisi menyebut rombongan ini terjun ke jurang usai menyaksikan sunset.
Kasat Lantas Polres Malang, AKP Adis Dani Garta mengatakan rombongan ini dari Lumajang kemudian hendak pulang, tetapi ingin melihat sunset sehingga terus ke arah Bromo melewati jalan Randupane.
Pihak kepolisan menyebut kalau mobil ini masuk ke jurang saat jalur menurun. Kecelakaan diduga kuat masalah faktor kendaraan, tetapi pihak kepolisan masih akan mendalami kembali.
Selain itu, pihak kepolisian juga mendapat informasi dari saksi bahwa mobil sempat membentur sisi kiri, lalu tidak mengerem. Pihak kepolisian masih akan terus mendalami penyebab kecelakaan ini.
