Kronologi Kecelakaan Maut di Gerbang Tol Ciawi, Truk Galon Alami Rem Blong
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kecelakaan maut terjadi di Gerbang Tol Ciawi, wilayah Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, Rabu (5/2/2025) dini hari.
Kecelakaan ini diduga terjadi akibat truk bermuatan galon mengalami rem blong sehingga mengakibatkan bangunan gerbang tol hancur dan beberapa korban tergeletak di aspal.
Kapolresta Bogor Kota Kombes Eko Prasetyo menjelaskan, peristiwa kecelakaan di ruas jalan Tol Bogor Jakarta tepatnya di Gate Tol Ciawi 2 terjadi pada Selasa sekitar pukul 23.30 WIB.
Saat itu truk dengan muatan galon melaju dari arah Ciawi menuju Jakarta, kemudian mengalami rem blong tepat di gerbang tol.
"Diduga kendaraan tersebut mengalami gagal fungsi rem (rem blong) sehingga menabrak rangkaian kendaraan yang sedang melakukan transaksi (pembayaran e-tol) tiga kendaraan hancur terbakar, tiga kendaraan lainnya mengalami kerusakan," ujar Kombes Eko
Peristiwa kecelakaan ini sempat melumpuhkan arus lalu lintas. PT Jasamarga melalui akun resmi Twitter menginformasikan menutup ruas jalur tersebut sementara.
Kecelakaan ini juga mengakibatkan sebanyak enam unit kendaraan mengalami kerusakan, tiga diantaranya rusak terbakar dan tiga lainnya ringsek.
