Several Officials Begin Arriving at the 79th Indonesian Armed Forces Anniversary Celebration
SEAToday.com, Jakarta – The 79th anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) was attended by several officials who began arriving at Lapangan Silang Monas on Saturday (5/10). Senior leaders from the Army, Navy, and Air Force have already arrived.
Among the officials who arrived around 07:20 WIB were Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, and Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita.
Also in attendance were Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of BPN Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto, Minister of National Development Planning Suharso Monoarfa, and several other ministers.
Former Vice President Boediono, the wife of former President Abdurrahman Wahid, Sinta Nuriyah Wahid, as well as Titiek Soeharto and Didit Hediprasetyo, the son of Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, were also seen.
In addition to the officials, the public showed enthusiasm to witness the 79th Indonesian National Armed Forces anniversary celebration. From the outset, the Indonesian Armed Forces Commander had invited the public to gather at Lapangan Silang Monas to participate in the event.
