Pemkot Jakarta Pusat Tanam 10 Ribu Bibit Cabai demi Stabilkan Harga
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat (Jakpus) melakukan inisiatif baru dengan menanam 10.500 bibit cabai di 71 lokasi wilayahnya, dengan tujuan mendorong stabilitas harga cabai saat periode Ramadan.
Mengutip dari ANTARA, Wali Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat, Chaidir menargetkan hingga dua ton untuk mengendalikan nilai inflasi ekonomi sekaligus menstabilkan harga cabai pada Hari Raya Idul Fitri mendatang.
"Secara masif dilakukan penanaman dari sekarang yang bertujuan memberi dampak positif pada ekonomi bulan puasa," kata Chaidir, Pelaksana Harian (Plh) Wali Kota Jakpus, Jumat (19/01/2024).
Penanaman dilakukan di lahan milik pemerintah daerah seluas 2,570 meter persegi, yang terletak di halaman Apartemen Sudirman Park, Jalan K.H. Mas Mansyur, Kelurahan Karet Tengsin, Kecamatan Tanah Abang.
Bakwan Ginting, Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan Sekretaris Kota Jakarta Pusat, mengumumkan tujuan untuk mengembangkan lahan samping Apartemen Sudirman Park tersebut menjadi edukasi wisata.
"Nantinya kawasan ini akan menjadi wisata berkebun. Ada fungsi edukasi untuk warga dan anak sekolah. Tiap kelurahan juga diharapkan ada miniatur tanam seperti di halaman Apartemen Sudirman Park," kata Ginting yang dilansir ANTARA.
Pemerintah Kota Jakarta Pusat telah mendistribusikan 6.000 bibit cabai kepada camat, lurah, dan kader PKK setempat dengan harapan tanaman tersebut dapat dipanen menjelang Idul Fitri 1445 Hijriah.
