Trump Tak Gubris Kritik Elon Musk Soal AI Sebut Kebencian Pribadi Jadi Alasan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump mengabaikan kritik Elon Musk tentang proyek AI senilai $500 miliar. Trump menegaskan pernyataan Musk lebih merujuk pada kebencian personal untuk salah satu pelaku proyek.

Trump menegaskan ia sudah bicara dengan pihak-pihak yang terkait untuk memastikan kelangsungan proyek. “Tidak, dia membenci salah satu orang,” kata Trump, merujuk pada Sam Altman.

Sebelum itu, Musk meragukan kemampuan finansial Stargate. Dalam postingannya di X, Musk mengatakan, “SoftBank hanya memiliki dana di bawah $10 miliar.”

Menanggapi itu, Trump percaya diri dan bicara, “Mereka orang kaya, mereka menaruh uang sendiri. Pemerintah tidak ikut mendanai proyek ini.” Trump mengatakan terkait investasi itu diharapkan mendorong pengembangan AI di AS, dilansir dari berbagai sumber.

Proyek Stargate melibatkan OpenAI, Oracle, dan SoftBank, dengan investasi awal sebesar $100 miliar. Ketiga perusahaan berencana menyuntik dana hingga $500 milliar untuk pengembangan infrastruktur AI dalam beberapa tahun kedepan.

Hubungan Musk dan Altman kurang harmonis, keduanya tergugat hukum terkait ChatGPT. Musk menuduh OpenAI meninggalkan misi nirlaba dan memprioritaskan keuntungan komersial.

Komentar pedas Musk terhadap Trump diduga menyerang pada proyek besar Gedung Putih. Tetapi, sekretaris pers Gedung Putih menyatakan rakyat Amerika seharusnya percaya pada janji Trump dan para CEO.

Meski skeptis, Trump tidak menunjukan kekhawatiran terhadap kritik itu. “Saya tidak frustrasi. Semua orang terlibat, dan ini akan berhasil,” tutupnya oleh Trump, dilansir dari berbagai sumber.
