Negosiasi Israel-Hamas Soal Gaza bakal Berlanjut

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Negosiasi terkait pembebasan sandera dan gencatan senjata di Gaza diberitakan akan berlanjut pada Jumat (3/1/2025) waktu setempat.

Dilansir CNN, Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu mengadakan rapat untuk membahas “mandat kepada delegasi” yang akan diutus dalam negosiasi tersebut. Kabarnya delegasi Israel akan berisi profesional dari Pasukan Pertahanan Israel (IDF),dan anggota intelijen Israel Mossad. 

Kelanjutan negosiasi tersebut juga dibenarkan oleh pihak Hamas. Mereka disebut” serius” untuk mencapai kesepakatan. Hamas “meneguhkan, seperti setiap waktu, keseriusan, sikap positif, dan usaha untuk mencapai kesepakatan pada kesempatan paling awal yang mencapai aspirasi dan tujuan rakyat kita yang teguh dan sabar,” demikian kata Hamas dalam pernyataannya.

Hamas menambahkan negosiasi ini akan “berfokus kepada kesepakatan yang menuju kepada gencatan sejata, penarikan pasukan pendudukan dari Gaza dan rincian pelaksanaan, dan pemulangan para pengungsi ke rumah mereka yang telah mengusir mereka di seluruh wilayah Jalur Gaza,”

Pihak Qatar sendiri belum mengeluarkan pernyataan terkait kelanjutan negosiasi tersebut.

Negosiasi tak langsung antara pihak Israel dan Hamas sebetulnya terus berlangsung kendati negosiasi resmi buntu selama beberapa bulan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah ketidaksepakatan kedua belah pihak terhadap salah satu dari empat poin dalam proposal yang diajukan mantan Presiden AS Joe Biden.

Poin yang menjadi permasalahan adalah soal keberadaan pasukan Israel di area yang disebut Philadelphi corrridor. Israel bersikukuh tetap menempatkan pasukan mereka di sana, sebaliknya dengan Hamas.
