SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Indonesia’s 7th President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo returned to the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Sunday (10/20) afternoon to welcome the arrival of Indonesia’s 8th President President Prabowo Subianto. Previously, Jokowi attended the inauguration of the president and vice president at the MPR/DPR building.
Jokowi arrived at the Merdeka Palace with his wife, Iriana Joko Widodo, in a Toyota Alphard with the license plate of B 1339 ZZR. He went to the palace to bid President Prabowo farewell. The latter will follow from the Jakarta Parliamentary Complex.
After the farewell ceremony, Jokowi will return to his hometown in Solo, Central Java, in an air force aircraft through the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. Meanwhile, 13th Vice President Ma’ruf Amin will also undergo a farewell procession with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Sunday.
