Presiden Joko Widodo Resmikan Tol Solo-Yogyakarta Ruas Kartasura-Klaten, Dibuka Gratis untuk Pengendara
SEAToday.com, Boyolali - Presiden Joko Widodo meresmikan Jalan Tol Ruas Solo–Yogyakarta–YIA Kulonprogo Seksi I yang menghubungkan Kartasura hingga Klaten, di Gerbang Tol Banyudono, Kabupaten Boyolali, Jawa Tengah, Kamis (19/9).
Dalam sambutannya, Presiden mengatakan jalan tol ini dibangun sejak tahun 2021 dengan investasi sebesar 5,6 triliun rupiah. Keberadaan tol ini akan mempersingkat waktu tempuh yang sebelumnya sering terhambat akibat kemacetan di jalur utama Solo–Yogyakarta.
“Ini akan meningkatkan konektivitas, aksesibilitas dari Solo, Jawa Tengah menuju ke Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta,” ujar Presiden.
Selain efisiensi waktu, Presiden juga menyebutkan keberadaan tol tersebut diharapkan dapat mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah-daerah sekitar. Saat ini, para pengendara yang melintasi di ruas tol Kartasura-Klaten tidak dikenakan tarif hingga surat keputusan (SK) operasional keluar.
