A Herder Dog Euthanized After Biting Resident in Jerakah

SEAToday.com, Semarang - A herder dog was euthanized after biting a resident in Graha Padma Housing, Jerakah Village, Semarang, Central Java last Friday (9/13). The decision was reached through an agreement between the dog’s owner, the victim, local residents, and the local neighborhood unit.

According to a circulating video, the victim, Lydia Paul, was walking alone when the dog suddenly ran and attacked her. 

The Jerakah Subdistrict Head, Dwi, stated that the owner was not home at the time of the incident. "According to reports, the dog was home alone. The owner was out. The owner claims that the dog was inside the house, but somehow it managed to escape."

Tugu Police Chief, Police Commissioner Fajar Widiyanto, revealed that two witnesses are being questioned, and the victim has been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for 12 stitches.
