SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin meluncurkan portal SatuDNA sebagai kelanjutan program Biomedical and Genome Science Initiative (BGSi), Kamis (12/9).
“Jadi, kedepannya, dari 280 juta penduduk, Indonesia akan memiliki data demografi, klinis, dan genomik yang memberikan berbagai peluang dan bermanfaat dalam big data analisis,” ujar Menkes.
Menurutnya, informasi genomik ini akan sangat berguna dalam membantu ketepatan diagnosis dan pengobatan di masa depan dan akan dijalan oleh sepuluh rumah sakit vertikal yang berfokus pada sepuluh penyakit utama. Ini termasuk kanker, penyakit metabolik, infeksi, neurodegeneratif, kardiovaskular, kesehatan usia lanjut, kecantikan dan kebugaran, kesehatan mental, kesehatan ibu dan anak, dan penyakit langka.
Untuk menjadi partisipan, masyarakat dapat mengakses layanan pemeriksaan farmakogenomik secara gratis melalui fitur SatuDNA di aplikasi SATUSEHAT Mobile.
