Israel Bom Sekolah Al-Fakhoora di Gaza Utara
SEAToday.com, Gaza Utara - Tentara Israel melakukan aksi pengeboman di Sekolah Al-Fakhoora di Jabalia, Gaza Utara, Sabtu (18/11). Puluhan warga tewas akibat kejadian ini. Para korban merupakan pengungsi yang berlindung di sekolah.
"Sedikitnya 50 orang tewas dalam serangan fajar terhadap Sekolah Al-Fakhoora yang dikelola PBB di kamp tersebut," ujar pejabat kementerian kepada AFP.
Sebelumnya, Israel juga melakukan serangan udara yang menyasar toko roti, rumah sakit, dan juga pemukiman di Gaza Selatan.
Jabalia di Jalur Gaza Utara adalah kamp pengungsi terbesar di wilayah Palestina dengan jumlah sekitar 1,6 juta orang.
Otoritas kesehatan Gaza, Jumat (17/11) mengumumkan, saat ini jumlah korban telah melampaui 12.000 orang, di mana 5.000 diantaranya adalah anak-anak.
