President Joko Widodo Names Garuda Palace for Nusantara Presidential Office

SEAToday.com, Nusantara - President Joko Widodo has named the presidential office building in the capital of Nusantara (IKN) as Garuda Palace. Meanwhile, the Presidential Palace is the name of the State Palace. 

The acting head of the IKN agency, Basuki Hadimuljono, conveyed this information on Monday (7/29). Basuki explained that the IKN State Palace is the official residence of the President and is located in the office building in the core area of the Nusantara Government Center (KIPP), Penajam Paser Utara Regency.

Meanwhile, Garuda Palace is right behind the State Palace, where the President works.

Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Muhammad Yusuf said that President Jokowi has started working at IKN and is scheduled to conduct two agendas, including a meeting with the IKN Authority and the East Kalimantan Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).
