Kemenag Kerahkan 5.940 KUA dan 50 ribu Penyuluh Agama untuk Cegah Judi Online
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Agama telah mengerahkan 5.940 Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) dan 50 ribu penyuluh agama untuk mencegah judi online. Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar, Kamis (21/11).
Pemerintah kini tengah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk memberantas judi online di masyarakat, termasuk di lingkungan pendidikan. Sebelumnya, Kemenag telah mengumpulkan seluruh rektor di lingkungan Kemenag, seperti Universitas Islam Negeri, Institut Agama Islam Negeri, dan Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri untuk membahas cara memberantas judi online.
Selain itu, topik ini juga akan dibahas melalui mimbar-mimbar agama, salah satunya melalui Khutbah Jumat bagi umat muslim.
“Kami akan membuat sebuah khutbah seragam untuk seluruh masjid. Ada 800 masjid di seluruh Indonesia ditambah musala, langgar, dan surau, rumah ibadah agama Islam ditambah dengan rumah ibadah agama lain, semuanya untuk mencegah potensi judi online,” ujar Menag.
