Joe Biden Kirim Delegasi AS Hadiri Pelantikan Prabowo

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kedutaan Besar Amerika Serikat (AS) di Jakarta menyampaikan bahwa Presiden AS Joe Biden akan mengutus delegasi kepresidenan untuk menghadiri pelantikan Presiden terpilih RI Prabowo Subianto yang digelar pada 20 Oktober 2024.
"Presiden AS Joseph R. Biden, Jr. mengumumkan penunjukan delegasi kepresidenan untuk menghadiri pelantikan Yang Mulia Prabowo Subianto pada 20 Oktober 2024, di Jakarta, Indonesia," demikian menurut siaran pers Kedubes AS di Jakarta, Sabtu, 12 Oktober 2024, dilansir Antara.
Perwakilan Amerika Serikat untuk Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB), Linda Thomas-Greenfield akan memimpin delegasi tersebut.
Anggota delegasi tersebut, yakni Duta Besar AS untuk Indonesia Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir, Wakil Menteri Perdagangan Don Graves, Panglima Komando Indo-Pasifik AS Departemen Pertahanan Laksamana Samuel Paparo, Asisten Menteri Luar Negeri AS untuk Urusan Asia Timur dan Pasifik Daniel J. Kritenbrink serta Asisten Khusus Presiden sekaligus Direktur Senior untuk Asia Timur dan Oseania, Dewan Keamanan Nasional (NSC), Gedung Putih Mira Rapp-Hooper.
Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran Rakabuming Raka akan dilantik sebagai presiden RI dan wakil presiden RI periode 2024-2029 pada 20 Oktober 2024 pukul 10.00 WIB di Gedung Nusantara, Kompleks Parlemen Senayan, Jakarta.
Dalam acara itu, kandidat peserta Pilpres 2024 dan seluruh pimpinan partai politik peserta Pemilu 2024 diundang untuk menghadiri prosesi pelantikan. Setelah itu, Prabowo dan Gibran direncanakan ke Istana Kepresidenan untuk mengikuti prosesi pisah sambut dengan Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
