Jokowi Salat Idul Adha di Simpang Lima Semarang, Berkurban Sapi Seberat 1,25 Ton
SEAToday.com, Semarang-Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) melaksanakan salat Idul Adha di Lapangan Simpang Lima, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Senin, 17 Juni 2024 pagi.
Sejumlah pejabat mendampingi ibadah salat Idul Adha Kepala Negara, seperti Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimoeljono, Kepala LKPP Hendrar Prihadi, serta Penjabat Gubernur Jawa Tengah Nana Sudjana.
Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari bertindak sebagai Khatib salat Idul Adha. Ribuan orang jemaah dari wilayah Kota Semarang dan sekitarnya memenuhi kawasan Simpang Lima Semarang untuk mengikuti salat id, dilansir Antara.
Pada kesempatan itu, Jokowi juga menyerahkan hewan kurban sapi untuk Masjid Baiturrahman Semarang. Orang nomor satu Indonesia ini berkurban seekor sapi seberat 1,250 ton untuk disembelih dan dagingnya dibagikan ke masyarakat.
Salat id yang digelar Presiden di Simpang Lima adalah rangkaian dari kunjungan kerja di wilayah Jawa Tengah. Usai salat id, Jokowi dijadwalkan mengecek proyek tanggul laut yang terletak di Tambaklorok, di wilayah Semarang Utara.
