Sopir Bus Minta Maaf Usai Kecelakaan Maut di Subang

SEAToday.com, Subang-Sopir bus Trans Putera Fajar, Sadira meminta maaf atas kecelakaan yang menimpa rombongan pelajar SMK Lingga Kencana Depok. Insiden ini terjadi di jalan turunan Ciater, Subang, Jawa Barat Sabtu, 11 Mei 2024 sekitar pukul 18.45 WIB.

"Saya mohon maaf sebesar-besarnya karena kejadian ini pun, semua tidak ada yang mau. Ini namanya musibah, saya mohon maaf, telah tidak ada keluarganya pada saat saya bawa yang terluka berat atau ringan atau meninggal, saya mohon maaf yang sebesar-besarnya," katanya dilansir Antara.

Kecelakaan terjadi saat bus tersebut melintas dari arah Bandung menuju Subang. Saat melewati jalan menurun, bus itu secara tiba-tiba oleng ke kanan hingga menyeberangi jalur berlawanan sampai menabrak kendaraan minibus jenis Feroza nopol D 1455 VCD.

Setelah menabrak kendaraan yang ada di jalur berlawanan itu, bus terguling dengan kondisi miring, posisi ban kiri berada di atas, tergelincir hingga menghantam tiga sepeda motor yang terparkir di bahu jalan.

Saat tergelincir di jalan yang kondisinya menurun, bus itu terhenti setelah menghantam tiang listrik di bahu jalan.

Humas RSUD Subang Wawan Gunawan, di Subang, Minggu, mengatakan bahwa jumlah korban yang meninggal akibat peristiwa kecelakaan itu sebanyak 11 orang, dengan rincian lima laki-laki dan enam perempuan.

Sementara untuk korban yang mengalami luka-luka yang mendapat penanganan medis sebanyak 32 orang, terdiri atas 12 orang yang mengalami luka berat dan 20 korban lainnya mengalami luka ringan.
