Kronologi Kecelakaan Beruntun di Tol Cipularang KM 92, Diduga akibat Truk Rem Blong
SEAToday.com, Bandung - Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Jawa Barat mengatakan bahwa tabrakan beruntun di Tol Cipularang Kilometer (KM) 92, Kabupaten Purwakarta, Senin, 11 November 2024, diduga dipicu truk bermuatan berat yang mengalami rem blong sehingga menabrak lebih dari lima kendaraan di depannya.
"Rem blong karena bermuatan cukup banyak, cukup berat, sehingga menabrak kendaraan yang ada di depannya," kata Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Barat Kombes Pol. Jules Abraham Abast di Bandung, Senin, 11 November 2024, dilansir Antara.
Kombes Pol. Jules menyebut bahwa Polda Jabar telah menurunkan sekitar 10 personel untuk penanganan di lokasi kejadian. Mereka terdiri atas petugas Korlantas Polri, PJR Polda Jabar, dan personel Satlantas Purwakarta.
"Ada 10 personel yang sudah kami kerahkan untuk membantu evakuasi korban maupun kendaraan yang terlibat," ungkapnya
Menurutnya, hingga saat ini, jumlah pasti kendaraan yang terlibat dan korban kecelakaan masih dalam pendataan. Tim kepolisian juga masih melakukan proses olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah kendaraan serta penyebab pasti kecelakaan.
Selain itu, guna mengurangi kemacetan yang terjadi di sekitar lokasi kecelakaan, Polda Jabar melakukan rekayasa lalu lintas dengan mengalihkan kendaraan keluar di Exit Tol Cikamuning.
"Kendaraan diarahkan melalui jalur arteri di Purwakarta, kemudian memasuki kembali tol melalui Pintu Tol Sadang," katanya.
Kecelakaan beruntun terjadi di Tol Purbaleunyi Kilometer 92 arah Jakarta ke Bandung di Kabupaten Purwakarta sekitar pukul 15.30 WIB. Hingga saat ini, petugas Jasa Marga maupun kepolisian masih berada di lokasi untuk mengevakuasi kendaraan yang terlibat.
Belum ada informasi lebih lanjut mengenai jumlah korban dari kecelakaan tersebut. Akibat kecelakaan ini, arus lalu lintas dari arah Bandung menuju Jakarta mengalami kemacetan panjang hingga Kilometer 95.
