SEAToday.com, Jakarta - MPR RI menggelar gladi kotor jelang acara pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Terpilih Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran Rakabuming Raka, di kompleks Parlemen, Jakarta, Jumat (18/10/2024).
Kegiatan tersebut dimulai pukul 14.00 WIB di Gedung Nusantara. Karpet merah pun sudah terpasang mulai dari pintu masuk utama, hingga ke ruang rapat paripurna di lantai tiga gedung tersebut.
Gladi pun dimulai dengan simulasi kedatangan para tamu kenegaraan hingga tamu VVIP. Simulasi tersebut digelar berulang-ulang menggunakan iring-iringan mobil, lengkap dengan motor pengawal.
Iring-iringan mobil pun memiliki pelat nomor bertuliskan negara-negara sahabat, antara lain, China, Meksiko, Selandia Baru, dan negara-negara lainnya. Setelah tiba di lobi pintu masuk Gedung Nusantara, pasukan drum band pun memainkan musik protokol kedatangan tamu VVIP.
Kemudian, orang yang keluar dari iring-iringan mobil tersebut disimulasikan disambut oleh kepala protokoler serta personel Paspampres yang berjaga di lobi pintu masuk.
Dalam gladi kotor ini, petugas keamanan melarang orang untuk memasuki area-area tertentu.
Gladi kotor juga tidak hanya digelar di area luar, tetapi berlangsung juga di dalam ruang rapat paripurna Gedung Nusantara. Dalam ruangan itu, pasukan drum band dan grup pemusik juga beberapa kali melakukan latihan.
Wakil Ketua MPR RI Eddy Soeparno sendiri mengatakan bahwa tamu-tamu kenegaraan dari negara-negara ASEAN dipastikan bakal menghadiri acara pelantikan Prabowo-Gibran.
"Tamu negara-negara sahabat itu bakal hadir karena ada semangat solidaritas negara-negara ASEAN. Kita tunggu aja konfirmasinya yang hadir siapa, kepala negaranya, kepala pemerintahannya, atau ada yang mewakili," kata Eddy di Kompleks Parlemen, Jakarta, Rabu (16/10).
MPR RI pun sebelumnya telah menggelar briefing and site visit dengan mengundang para duta besar dan perwakilan negara sahabat sebagai persiapan menjelang acara pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden pada 20 Oktober mendatang.
