Cegah Penyebaran Mpox, Bandara Lombok Pasang Thermal Scanner

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Upaya pencegahan penyebaran virus Monkeypox atau Mpox terus dilakukan di Indonesia, salah satunya di bandara Lombok.

PT Angkasa Pura I Bandara Internasional Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap masuknya penumpang luar negeri dengan memasang thermal scanner.

Pemasangan thermal scanner ini dilakukan di terminal kedatangan domestik maupun terminal kedatangan internasional.

Humas Bandara Lombok Arif Haryanto mengatakan selain pemasangan thermal scanner, pihak Bandara juga menyediakan ruangan khusus area penanganan dan pelayanan kesehatan di terminal penumpang.

Sementara, untuk pesawat pihaknya telah menyediakan isolated parking area di South Taxiway Paralel dan Parking Stand 1. Sedangkan untuk pengawasan di lapangan dilakukan oleh petugas Badan Kekarantinaan Kesehatan (BKK) Kelas I Mataram.

Hingga saat ini, belum ditemukan adanya kasus Mpox di daerah tersebut.

Sebelumnya, Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemenparekraf) mengungkapkan, Pemerintah Indonesia telah melakukan beberapa upaya dalam memastikan pelaku wisata asal luar negeri terbebas dari cacar monyet atau Mpox.

Adyatama Kepariwisataan dan Ekonomi Kreatif Nia Niscaya mengungkapkan bahwa Pemerintah Indonesia telah turun tangan dalam mengurangi penularan penyakit ini, dengan adanya pemeriksaan di bandara dan pelabuhan internasional.

“Kementerian Kesehatan menemukan beberapa kasus di Indonesia dan penemuan ini direspons oleh pemerintah dengan memperkuat pemeriksaan di pintu masuk negara termasuk di bandar udara,” ujarnya.
