SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Para pemilik Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM) yang masa berlakunya berakhir pada 17 Agustus 2024 tidak perlu khawatir karena mendapat dispensasi perpanjangan hari.

Informasi ini disampaikan oleh Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya melalui akun resmi Instagram @satpasmetrojaya, Rabu (14/8/2024).

“Pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2024, pelayanan di Satpas Daan Mogot, Unit Satpas DKI Jakarta, Unit Gerai SIM dan Unit Simling DKI Jakarta diliburkan,” tulis keterangan posting tersebut.

Layanan akan dibuka kembali pada Senin (19/8), sehingga SIM yang habis masa berlaku saat Libur Nasional akan mendapat dispensasi perpanjangan pada waktu yang sudah ditentukan.

Pemegang SIM yang habis masa berlaku pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2024 dapat melaksanakan perpanjangan SIM pada 19 Agustus 2024 dengan mekanisme perpanjangan.

Sesuai dengan PP Nomor 60 Tahun 2016 tentang Penerimaan Negara Bukan Pajak, pemohon akan dikenakan tarif Rp 80.000 untuk perpanjangan SIM A, dan Rp 75.000 untuk perpanjangan SIM C, dan Rp 30.000 untuk perpanjangan SIM D.

Untuk perpanjangan SIM, pemohon harus melengkapi syarat dokumen yang dibutuhkan berupa fotokopi KTP, SIM asli, lampiran bukti cek kesehatan dan tes psikologi, serta bukti peserta aktif BPJS Kesehatan.

Hal ini mengingat sejak Juli 2024, BPJS Kesehatan telah resmi digunakan sebagai salah satu syarat dalam proses perpanjangan SIM atau Surat Izin Mengemudi.

Terdapat tujuh provinsi yang menggelar kepengurusan SIM memakai BPJS Kesehatan hingga 30 September 2024.

Selain Jakarta, provinsi lainnya yaitu Aceh, Sumatera Barat, Sumatera Selatan, Kalimantan Timur, Bali, dan Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).
