KAI Commuter: Integrasi Stasiun Karet-BNI City-Sudirman Mulai April 2025

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KAI Commuter) menyatakan bahwa integrasi Stasiun Karet dengan Stasiun BNI City dan Stasiun Sudirman di Jakarta akan dimulai pada April 2025.

Hal ini berarti usai integrasi selesai, maka Stasiun Karet hanya akan dilalui KRL tanpa melayani naik atau turun penumpang. Penumpang akan diarahkan untuk naik dan turun di Stasiun BNI City yang lebih nyaman dan lebih luas.

"Kondisi (Stasiun) Karet memang sudah nggak memenuhi syarat untuk naik-turun penumpang. Oleh karena itu, penumpang akan naik-turun melalui BNI City yang lebih nyaman, lebih bagus stasiunnya, dan peronnya lebih luas," ujar Direktur Utama KAI Commuter Asdo Artriviyanto.

Ia mengatakan bahwa kajian mengintegrasikan ketiga stasiun tersebut telah dilakukan sejak tahun 2020. Adapun konsep ruang publik di kawasan Stasiun Karet sudah dirancang dengan baik.

Area tersebut akan dilengkapi dengan berbagai gerai jajanan dan fasilitas ramah pejalan kaki. Sementara itu, pembangunan di Stasiun BNI City sedang berlangsung, salah satunya pemasangan kanopi di bagian ujung barat stasiun.

Asdo memastikan bahwa integrasi ketiga stasiun tersebut akan selesai tepat waktu dan berjalan sesuai rencana.

"Penumpang yang dari pintu Stasiun Karet bisa langsung masuk di BNI City, tidak perlu jauh-jauh sampai ke timur atau ke tengah, langsung bisa dari barat yang sudah kita bangunkan hall saat ini," kata Asdo.
