Hujan Ekstrem dan Sangat Lebat Jadi Penyebab Banjir Sebagian Jakarta
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Jakarta mengungkap banjir yang melanda sebagian wilayah diakibatkan hujan ekstrem dan sangat lebat yang membuat saluran air tidak mampu menampung air yang masuk.
"Saluran air yang ada melebihi kapasitas daya tampung sehingga meluap mengakibatkan genangan (banjir)," kata Kepala Pusat Data dan Informasi (Kapusdatin) Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) DKI Jakarta Mohamad Yohan.
Hujan ekstrem terjadi pada Selasa (28/1) hingga Rabu (29/1) dini hari di Jakarta sehingga menyebabkan banjir di wilayah tersebut.
Berdasarkan data terakhir, banjir di Jakarta masih menggenangi 52 RT dan 22 ruas jalan di Jakarta Utara, Selatan, Timir, Barat, dan Jakarta Pusat.
Dari data BPBD Jakarta terbaru, wilayah yang masih terendam banjir meliputi Jakarta Barat terdapat 22 RT yang terdiri atas: Kelurahan Cengkareng Barat 2 RT, Kedaung Kali Angke 11 RT, Rawa Buaya 4 RT, Jelambar Baru 2 RT, Kalideres 2 RT, Pegadungan 1 RT, dan Kelurahan Tegal Alur 5 RT.
"Ketinggian air berkisar dari 30 centimeter hingga 100 centimeter," kata Yohan.
Kemudian, terdapat satu RT di Jakarta Pusat yang berada di Kelurahan Kebon Kosong dan terdapat 4 RT di Jakarta Selatan yang berada di Kelurahan Pejaten Timur.
Selanjutnya, Jakarta Timur terdapat di 20 RT yang terdiri atas: Kelurahan Cakung Timur 1 RT, Rawa Terate 1 RT, Bidara Cina 3 RT, Cawang 14 RT, dan Kelurahan Cililitan 1 RT.
BPBD Jakarta tengah mengerahkan personel untuk memonitor kondisi genangan di setiap wilayah dan mengkoordinasikan dengan unsur Dinas SDA, Dinas Bina Marga, Dinas Gulkarmat untuk melakukan penyedotan.
Selain itu, para personel di lapangan juga diminta untuk memeriksa tali-tali air agar berfungsi dengan baik melibatkan lurah dan camat masing-masing wilayah.
"Target kami genangan bisa surut dengan cepat," katanya.
