BMKG: Waspada Gelombang Tinggi hingga 2,5 Meter di Kalsel hingga 21 Januari

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) mengingatkan masyarakat mewaspadai gelombang tinggi air laut mencapai 2,5 meter di perairan Kalimantan Selatan (Kalsel) dan sekitarnya hingga 21 Januari 2025.

“Waspada bagi perahu nelayan, kapal tongkang, dan kapal feri, terhadap potensi ketinggian gelombang maksimal air laut di perairan Kalimantan Selatan,” kata Prakirawan Cuaca Stasiun Meteorologi Syamsudin Noor Banjarbaru BMKG Kalsel Rianita Sekar.

Adapun kecepatan angin di perairan tersebut berbeda-beda mulai dari 2 hingga 20 knot, dengan potensi gelombang pun berbeda-beda sesuai arah mata angin.

Potensi gelombang tinggi air laut di perairan Kalsel ini pun berlaku mulai dari arah Kotabaru Kalsel, Kalteng bagian timur, hingga Laut Jawa bagian timur dan tengah.

Ia pun mengimbau masyarakat pesisir di beberapa daerah potensi pasang air laut capai 2,7 meter yakni perairan Sungai Barito hingga 18 Januari yang diperkirakan terjadi antara pukul 19.00-01.00 WITA.

Lalu, Perairan Kotabaru mencapai 2,7 meter hingga tanggal 19 Januari yang diperkirakan terjadi antara pukul 18.00-22.00 WITA.

Tidak hanya gelombang laut, masyarakat juga diimbau terkait potensi hujan sedang disertai kilat petir dan angin kencang yang melanda hampir di seluruh kabupaten/kota hingga 20 Januari.

Kemudian di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Kotabaru, Balangan, Tabalong dan sekitarnya berpotensi terjadi hingga 21 Januari.
