BMKG Keluarkan Peringatan Dini Gelombang Laut Banten Capai 2,5 Meter

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) mengeluarkan peringatan dini tinggi gelombang laut Banten yang mencapai 2,5 meter.
Peringatan dini ini menimbulkan larangan agar wisatawan tidak berenang dan pelaku pelayaran dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan untuk mencegah kecelakaan laut.
Berdasarkan BMKG Stasiun Meteorologi Maritim Kelas 1 Serang, disebutkan bahwa potensi tinggi gelombang laut Banten sepanjang hari ini berkisar antara 1,5 sampai 2,5 meter.
Potensi cuaca buruk di laut Banten itu meliputi Selat Sunda Barat Pandeglang, Perairan Selatan Pandeglang dan Perairan Selatan Lebak.
BMKG menyarankan keselamatan bagi pelaku pelayaran mulai perahu nelayan, kapal tongkang dan kapal Feri agar mewaspadai jika tiupan angin kencang dan gelombang tinggi.
Tidak hanya itu, bagi wisatawan yang mengunjungi perairan laut Banten saat akhir pekan diminta agar tidak berenang di sekitar pesisir pantai untuk mencegah kecelakaan laut.
Sementara, pada pagi hingga malam hari sebagian besar wilayah Banten berawan hingga cerah berawan.
Suhu udara rata-rata 23 - 33 derajat Celcius, kelembapan udara 60 – 90 persen dan angin bergerak dari arah Selatan hingga Barat Daya dengan kecepatan 05 – 30 km/jam.
Kepala Pelaksana Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Lebak Febby Rizky Pratama mengatakan pelaku pelayaran yang menggunakan kapal Feri, tongkang dan kapal/perahu nelayan di pesisir selatan Lebak tetap mewaspadai gelombang tinggi disertai angin kencang.
