Pilkada 27 November 2024 Ditetapkan sebagai Hari Libur Nasional
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Presiden Prabowo Subianto menetapkan hari pelaksanaan pemungutan suara pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada) serentak pada 27 November 2024 sebagai hari libur nasional.
Hal ini untuk memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya bagi masyarakat dalam menggunakan hak pilih.
Penetapan ini tertuang dalam Keputusan Presiden Nomor 33 tentang Hari Pemungutan Suara Pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati, serta Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Tahun 2024 sebagai Hari Libur Nasional.
Dalam salinan Keppres di laman jdih.setneg.go.id, penetapan hari pemungutan suara pilkada sebagai hari libur nasional, sesuai dengan ketentuan Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2020 tentang Pemilihan Gubernur, Bupati dan Wali Kota, yang menyebutkan pemungutan suara dilakukan pada hari libur atau hari yang diliburkan.
Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) sendiri telah menetapkan Rabu, 27 November 2024 sebagai hari pelaksanaan pemungutan suara Pilkada 2024.
Keputusan Presiden ini ditetapkan di Jakarta, 21 November 2024 dan berlaku pada tanggal ditetapkan.
