Bea Cukai Janji Perbaiki Sistem Proses Impor Barang

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menanggapi permasalahan para importir yang masih kesulitan dalam proses impor barang, Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai (DJBC) Kementerian Keuangan mengatakan akan mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki sistemnya.
Direktur Jenderal Bea dan Cukai, Askolani mengatakan bahwa dalam proses impor barang melibatkan banyak pihak seperti Perusahaan Jasa Titipan (PJT) dan pelaku usaha.
“Kita terus perkuat perbaikan ke depan,” kata Askolani dilansir dari Antara, Senin (29/4/2024).
DJBC juga menyadari masih banyak masyarakat yang belum dijangkau secara masif terkait sistem impor. Maka dari itu, DJBC akan terus aktif untuk mengedukasi masyarakat pelaku usaha yang secara langsung membutuhkan impor barang.
Askolani mengungkapkan bahwa semua pihak pabean aktif bekerja sama untuk menangani masalah, tidak seperti dugaan dimana Bea Cukai baru akan menindaklanjuti masalah setelah viral.
Menteri Keuangan, Sri Mulyani mengimbau kepada Bea Cukai agar terus aktif memberi layanan dan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait kebijakan ekspor impor sesuai Undang-Undang. Dan menjalani tugas sebagai pelindung perbatasan, pengumpul pendapatan, fasilitator perdagangan, dan bantuan industri.
