Jepang Perketat Aturan Fotografi Geisha

SEAToday.com, Tokyo - Kebijakan yang mengatur tentang pengambilan gambar Geisha dan Maiko di Gion, Jepang akan diperketat dengan menutup gang kecil di Kota Gion.

Dewan Kota Gion berencana untuk menutup gang-gang kecil yang menjadi objek wisata sekaligus tempat Geisha dan Maiko berjalan. Namun, jalan raya utama Gion tidak dapat ditetapkan menjadi kawasan bebas fotografi karena jalan tersebut merupakan jalan umum.

Pemerintah setempat telah mengumumkan aturan mengenai larangan pengambilan gambar Geisha dan Maiko dengan menggunakan papan petunjuk dalam tiga bahasa dan pelanggar akan dikenakan denda hingga JPY 10.000 atau kurang lebih setara dengan IDR 1.000.000.

Menurut Isokazu Ota, penegakkan aturan ini sulit dilakukan karena banyaknya jumlah turis yang mengabaikan aturan dengan menunggu geisha dan maiko di jalan utama dan mengarahkan kameranya ke gang-gang kecil tempat geisha dan maiko keluar.

“Paparazzi menjadi lebih berani setelah pandemi dan mungkin tidak mengetahui aturan yang melarang pengambilan gambar maiko dari jalan raya utama Gion,” ungkap Sekretaris Perwakilan Dewan Distrik Selatan Kota Gion, Isokazu Ota, dilansir dari CNN.

“Bahkan warga setempat telah mendisiplinkan turis yang berperilaku buruk dan  disarankan bagi turis untuk memiliki pemandu wisata lokal yang dapat menjaga etika di wilayah setempat” lanjut Isokazu Ota, dilansir dari CNN.
