KPU Sleman Siapkan Langkah Antisipasi Logistik Pemilu Rusak karena Cuaca
SEAToday.com, Sleman - Langkah antisipatif disiapkan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta terkait distribusi logistik Pemilu 2024. Hal itu dilakukan agar logistik Pemilu 2024 tidak rusak karena faktor cuaca.
"Antisipasi ini kami lakukan mengingat distribusi logistik akan mulai dilakukan pada 11 Februari, yang besar kemungkinan masih terjadi hujan deras," kata Ketua Bawaslu Kabupaten Sleman Ahmad Baehaqi di Sleman, Yogyakarta seperti dilansir Antara.
Ahmad mengatakan, cuaca yang bisa berdampak ke logistik pemilu antara lain hujan dan aktivitas Gunung Merapi. Ia mengungkapkan, erupsi terkadang masih terjadi di Gunung Merapi.
Lebih lanjut, wilayah Sleman juga beberapa di antaranya merupakan perbukitan terjal dengan medan yang sulit. Alhasil, KPU Sleman pun telah menyiapkan sejumlah langkah antara lain menyiapkan kendaraan tertutup seperti truk boks.
"Kami berusaha seoptimal mungkin logistik Pemilu 2024 dapat terdistribusi semua dengan dan dalam kondisi baik," kata Ahmad.
Distribusi logistik Pemilu 2024 dilakukan pada 11-13 Februari 2024 atau tiga hari sebelum pelaksanaan (H-3). Ahmad menuturkan, distribusi akan diprioritaskan untuk wilayah dengan pemilih terbanyak.
"Distribusi logistik ini akan kami prioritaskan untuk wilayah dengan pemilih terbanyak dan memiliki lokasi terjauh terlebih dahulu," ucapnya
