Pusat Vulkanologi Siapkan Tim Antisipasi Bencana Saat Libur Nataru
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) Badan Geologi Kementerian ESDM telah menyiapkan tim tanggap darurat bencana geologi. Diharapkan, tim itu dapat merespon cepat jika ada bencana saat libur Natal dan Tahun Baru 2024.
“Tim tanggap darurat bencana geologi akan merespons dengan cepat, juga meningkatkan pemantauan gunung api secara cermat di beberapa gunung api aktif di Indonesia,” kata Kepala PVMBG Badan Geologi Kementerian ESDM Hendra Gunawan seperti dilansir Antara.
Hendra menambahkan, Badan Geologi juga memberikan peta sebaran itik rawan gerakan tanah pada jalur jalan di Pulau Jawa, Sumatera, dan Sulawesi. Peta itu diberikan kepada pemerintah daerah dan Kepolisian Daerah di wilayah yang dimaksud.
Badan Geologi juga membuat peta prakiraan wilayah potensi terjadi gearkan tanah serta membuat laporan/tanggapan dan rekomendasi teknis penanggulangan bencana geologi.
Hal-hal tersebut “Bisa diakses secara daring, gunanya untuk memitigasi bencana geologi,” kata dia.
