SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Gunung Marapi di Sumatra Barat kembali erupsi pada Selasa (4/12/2023). Total, Gunung Marapi sudah 46 kali erupsi dan mengeluarkan 66 hembusan dan letusan sejak erupsi pertama pada Minggu (3/12/2023).
Dikutip dari Antara, Kepala Petugas Pos Gunung Api (PGA) Sumatra Barat Ahmad Rifandi menuturkan erupsi pada Selasa (5/12/2023) terjadi pada pukul 06.13 WIB, 06.14 WIB, dan 05.24 WIB. Amplitudo erupsi tersebut maksimum 30 meter.
Erupsi tersebut membuat tim SAR gabungan harus waspada. Alhasil, proses evakuasi korban erupsi yang masih terjebak di sekitar puncak Marapi harus ditunda.
Gunung Marapi saat ini berada di Level II atau “Waspada”. Masyarakat di sekitar Gunung Marapi dan wisatawan tidak diperbolehkan mendaki gunung pada radius tiga kilometer dari kawah puncak.
