Didampingi Ketua Bawaslu, Wapres Gibran Pimpin Apel Siaga Masa Tenang Pilkada 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta – Didampingi Ketua Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) RI Rahmad Bagja, Wakil Presiden (Wapres) Gibran memimpin Apel Siaga Masa Tenang untuk Pilkada 2024 di Lapangan Monas, Jakarta Pusat pada Rabu (20/11).
Melansir Antara, Gibran tiba di lokasi acara pukul 07.09 WIB. Ia mengenakan kemeja putih dan celana hitam. Gibran meminta para pengawas Pilkada untuk menjaga amanat demi pelaksanaan pemungutan suara yang langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur, dan adil.
Menurut Gibran Pilkada 2024 adalah Pilkada terbesar sepanjang sejarah di Indonesia karena dilakukan serentak. “Kita mendukung penuh Pilkada serentak ini agar prosesnya berjalan baik dan lancar sehingga masyarakat bisa memberikan hak dengan aman dan nyaman,” kata Gibran.
Dalam memimpin Apel Siaga Masa Tenang Pilkada, Gibran juga meminta agar pencegahan dini atas konflik yang mungkin terjadi saat Pilkada bisa cepat diatasi dan diprioritaskan oleh para petugas di lapangan.
Gibran minta jika konflik terjadi untuk segera diselesaikan supaya tidak membesar dan melebar hingga menimbulkan korban jiwa,” tambah Gibran yang sudah mengetahui soal konflik yang terjadi di Sampang, Madura baru-baru ini, dimana terjadi pembacokan kepada salah satu pendukung Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Sampang.
Gibran berpesan hanya karena berbeda pendapat, berbeda pilihan politik, masyarakat bisa terpecah dan saling hujat hingga baku hantam hingga memicu konflik yang besar.
Dalam acara Apel Siaga Masa Tenang Pilkada 2024 dihadiri pengawas pemilu yang berasal dari seluruh Indonesia berkumpul untuk mendapatkan arahan sehingga dapat memantau dan mengawasi berjalannya Pilkada 2024 dengan lancar.
Pilkada serentak 2024 akan berlangsung pada 27 November 2024 di 508 kabupaten/kota dan 37 provinsi. Pemerintah tentu akan menjaga keamanan agar proses Pilkada yang tinggal menghitung hari berjalan lancar.
