SEAToday.com, Gaza - Sebanyak 28 dari 31 bayi yang terlahir prematur berhasil dievakuasi dari Rumah Sakit (RS) Emirates di Rafah menuju ke Egyptian Hospital, Senin (20/11). Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan oleh Masyarakat Bulan Sabit Merah Palestina (Palestinian Red Crescent Society) melalui media sosial X.
"Ambulans dari Bulan Sabit Merah Palestina berangkat dari Rumah Sakit Emirat di Rafah untuk mengevakuasi 28 bayi prematur ke rumah sakit di Mesir dan mendapatkan perawatan medis.”
Tiga bayi lainnya tidak dievakuasi menuju ke Mesir karena berada dalam kondisi yang cukup baik.
Sebelum dievakuasi ke Rumah Sakit Emirat, 31 bayi prematur tersebut sempat mendapatkan perawatan di rumah sakit Al-Shifa di Gaza Utara. Namun rumah sakit terbesar di Gaza tersebut berhenti beroperasi karena kehabisan bahan bakar dan terkena serangan Israel.
