Pemerintah Lakukan Pemutusan Akses Komunikasi Internet Dari Filipina dan Kamboja Untuk Atasi Masalah Ini
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Berbagai upaya dilakukan pemerintah untuk memberantas praktik judi online di Indonesia, salah satunya dengan melakukan pemutusan akses komunikasi internet dari/dan ke Filipina dan Kamboja.
Direktur Jenderal Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kemenkominfo), Usman Kansong mengatakan jika situs judi online dari Kamboja dan Davao, Filipina sudah tidak dapat diakses di Indonesia dan kini terus dilakukan pemantauan terkait efektivitasnya.
Meski begitu, Usman menyampaikan jika Kemenkominfo belum menjalin kerja sama khusus dengan otoritas kedua negara. "Belum ada kerja sama khusus dengan otoritas Filipina maupun Kamboja, karena kemungkinan adanya perbedaan tentang regulasi judi online," ujarnya.
Selain itu, pemerintah juga akan meningkatkan pemblokiran rekening yang terindikasi aktivitas judi online untuk mempersempit ruang gerak pelaku judi online.
