SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jakarta meniadakan sistem ganjil-genap selama libur panjang Hari Raya Waisak, yaitu 23-24 Mei. Informasi tersebut disampaikan melalui unggahan di Instagram Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Jakarta (@dishubdkijakarta).
Hal tersebut berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Bersama Menteri Agama, Menteri Ketenagakerjaan, dan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Republik Indonesia Nomor 855 Tahun 2023, Nomor 3 Tahun 2023, dan Nomor 4 Tahun 2023 tentang Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama Tahun 2024.
Selain itu, peniadaan ganjil genap ini juga diatur Pergub 88 Tahun 2019 Pasal 3 ayat (3) yang berbunyi, “pembatasan lalu lintas dengan sistem ganjil genap tidak diberlakukan pada hari Sabtu, Minggu, dan hari libur nasional yang ditetapkan dengan Keputusan Presiden”.
Namun, para pengendara tetap diminta untuk mematuhi rambu lalu lintas dan mengutamakan keselamatan di jalan, serta mengikuti arahan petugas di lapangan.
