Kemenag Luncurkan Iqro’na Sebagai Panduan Membaca Al-Qur’an Braille
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Balitbang Diklat Kementerian Agama pada Senin (1/4) meluncurkan "Iqro'na", yaitu panduan praktis untuk mempermudah para Penyandang Disabilitas Sensorik Rungu Wicara (PDSRW) untuk membaca dan mempelajari Al-Qur'an.
Iqro'na merupakan singkatan dari Iqro' bil-Kitabah al-Arabiyah an-Nafirah, yang merupakan langkah inovatif dari Kementerian Agama bagi yang mempelajari Al-Qur'an Braille.
Kepala Balitbang Diklat Kementerian Agama Suyitno menyebutkan, pihaknya berkomitmen untuk memberikan pelayanan tanpa diskriminasi, khususnya dalam pendidikan dan layanan keagamaan sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 8 tahun 2016 tentang Penyandang Disabilitas.
Peluncuran Iqro'na ini mendapatkan apresiasi dari berbagai pihak, termasuk Kepala Atase Agama Kedutaan Besar Arab Saudi, Syeikh Ahmed bin Essa Al-Hazmi.
