Pelni Prediksi Jumlah Penumpang Selama Lebaran Mencapai 588.903 Orang

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) memprediksi jumlah penumpang kapal pada arus mudik dan arus balik lebaran 2024 mencapai 588.903 orang. Angka tersebut merupakan penurunan dari tahun lalu yang mencapai 632.155 orang.
Dalam Konferensi Pers Angkutan Laut Lebaran 1445 Hijriah, Rabu (20/3), Direktur Utama PT Pelni Tri Andayani menyebutkan penurunan tersebut terjadi karena jumlah kapal perintis yang berkurang, dari 42 trayek di 2023 menjadi 30 trayek di tahun ini.
Selain itu, Tri Andayani juga menyebutkan puncak arus mudik diperkirakan akan terjadi pada 5 April, sementara arus balik pada 26 April.
PT Pelni juga memprediksi pelabuhan dengan kedatangan terpadat terjadi di Pelabuhan Surabaya dengan 59.555 orang, Makassar dengan 45.061 orang, Baubau 33.424 orang, Ambon 28.105 orang, dan Balikpapan 23.734 orang.
