Presiden Prabowo Subianto Bertemu Presiden Joe Biden Menandai Hubungan Bilateral ke-75 Antara Indonesia-AS
SEAToday.com, Washington DC - Presiden Indonesia Prabowo Subianto melakukan pertemuan bilateral dengan Presiden Amerika Serikat Joe Biden di Gedung Putih, Washington DC, Selasa (12/11). Pertemuan ini juga menandai 75 tahun hubungan diplomatik antara kedua negara.
Presiden Prabowo menyampaikan apresiasinya atas hubungan persahabatan antar kedua negara.
“Amerika Serikat bagi kami adalah teman yang sangat baik. Amerika Serikat mendukung kami dalam perjuangan kemerdekaan dan membantu kami berkali-kali saat kami membutuhkannya. Oleh karena itu, saya akan bekerja keras untuk memperkuat hubungan Indonesia-Amerika Serikat,” ujar Presiden Prabowo.
Di sisi lain, Presiden Biden menyampaikan beberapa fokus kerja sama, di antaranya memperkuat kawasan Indo-Pasifik yang bebas dan terbuka, mendukung transisi energi bersih, membangun rantai pasokan yang aman dan tangguh.
