Bea Cukai Indonesia Musnahkan Ribuan Box ‘Milk Bun’ dari Thailand

SEAToday.com, Tangerang-Kantor Pelayanan Utama Bea dan Cukai Tipe Madya Pabean C Soekarno-Hatta memusnahkan 2.564 boks makanan viral asal Thailand, milkbun after you.
Pada Minggu (10/3), Kepala Kantor Bea Cukai Soekarno-Hatta, Gatot Sugeng Wibowo, menyebutkan roti yang sedang viral tersebut berasal dari 33 penindakan yang dilakukan selama Februari lalu, dan melanggar aturan Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Nomor 28 Tahun 2023 tentang Perubahan atas Peraturan Aturan Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pengawasan Pemasukan Obat dan Makanan ke Dalam Wilayah Indonesia.
Dalam aturan tersebut, penumpang yang datang dari luar negeri hanya diizinkan membawa makanan olahan pangan dengan maksimal berat 5 kilogram dan untuk konsumsi pribadi, jika barang bawaan tersebut melebihi berat yang ditentukan, penumpang harus memiliki surat izin edar yang dikeluarkan oleh BPOM.
Gatot juga menyebutkan 33 penumpang yang dilakukan penindakan karena membawa ratusan bungkus milk bun after you dengan beragam berat yang berbeda, mulai dari ratusan boks dengan berat 10 kg hingga ada penumpang yang membawa milk bun after you dengan berat ratusan kilogram.
Berdasarkan hasil pendalaman, ribuan boks makanan milk bun after you tersebut diperjualbelikan di Indonesia melalui jasa titipan atau jastip. Milk bun hasil sitaan tersebut dimusnahkan dengan cara dibakar di mesin insinerator. (HAYYI/DKD)
