Korban Tewas Kebakaran Hotel di Turki Mencapai 76 Orang

SEAToday.com, Moskow – Korban jiwa akibat kebakaran yang melanda resor ski Kartalkaya di Provinsi Bolu, Turki, kini meningkat menjadi 76 orang, menurut pernyataan Menteri Dalam Negeri Ali Yerlikaya pada Selasa (21/1).
Insiden kebakaran terjadi pada Selasa dini hari dan menghanguskan satu bangunan di resor tersebut. Beberapa tamu mencoba menyelamatkan diri dengan mengikat seprai untuk melarikan diri dari kobaran api.
Sebelumnya di hari yang sama, Yerlikaya melaporkan jumlah korban tewas mencapai 66 orang. Namun, angka tersebut kemudian bertambah menjadi 76 jiwa. "Sebanyak 76 orang meninggal akibat kebakaran di resor Kartalkaya," ujarnya kepada media.
Sebagai bagian dari penyelidikan, sembilan orang telah ditahan, termasuk pemilik resor.
Menteri Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, yang turut meninjau lokasi kejadian, menyebutkan bahwa hotel tersebut telah menjalani inspeksi pada periode 2021-2024 dan dinyatakan memenuhi standar keselamatan kebakaran.
Ersoy menambahkan bahwa tidak ditemukan adanya pelanggaran terkait keselamatan kebakaran selama pemeriksaan yang dilakukan sebelumnya.
