AS Resmi Keluar dari WHO, Trump Tandatangani Perintah Eksekutif

SEAToday.com, Washington - Presiden Donald Trump secara resmi menandatangani perintah eksekutif pada Senin (20/1) waktu setempat untuk menarik Amerika Serikat dari keanggotaan Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO).

Menurut Trump, WHO telah mengecewakan Amerika Serikat. “WHO telah menipu kita. Semua orang telah menipu Amerika Serikat, dan ini harus dihentikan. Hal ini tidak akan terjadi lagi,” ujar Trump kepada wartawan di Ruang Oval usai menandatangani keputusan tersebut.

Trump, yang baru saja dilantik untuk masa jabatan keduanya, membawa perubahan signifikan bagi pemerintahan AS, yang diperkirakan akan memberikan dampak besar bagi masyarakat Amerika dan dunia.

Ia juga menyoroti kontribusi finansial AS terhadap WHO, yang mencapai 500 juta dolar AS (sekitar Rp8,15 triliun), sementara China hanya membayar 39 juta dolar AS (sekitar Rp635,6 miliar). “Menurut saya, ini tidak adil, meskipun itu bukan alasan utama. Saya memutuskan untuk keluar... China negara yang lebih besar, tetapi kontribusinya jauh lebih kecil,” tambahnya.

Selain keluar dari WHO, Trump juga mengumumkan rencana penarikan AS dari Perjanjian Iklim Paris 2016 karena dianggap merugikan dan tidak seimbang.

Trump resmi dilantik sebagai Presiden ke-47 Amerika Serikat setelah mengambil sumpah jabatan di Capitol Rotunda, Washington DC, pada pukul 12:02 siang waktu setempat, yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Mahkamah Agung AS John Roberts. Pelantikan tersebut diakhiri dengan pidato kenegaraan Trump sebagai Presiden AS untuk periode 2025-2029.
