Gencatan Senjata Dimulai 19 Januari, Rakyat Gaza Menyambutnya dengan Gembira

SEAToday.com, Gaza - Hamas dan Israel telah mencapai kesepakatan untuk melakukan gencatan senjata yang akan mulai berlaku pada 19 Januari 2025. Kesepakatan ini diumumkan oleh Perdana Menteri Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, dan menjadi titik terang setelah konflik berkepanjangan yang melanda wilayah Gaza selama lebih dari satu tahun.

Pada tahap pertama gencatan senjata, bantuan kemanusiaan akan segera disalurkan ke seluruh Gaza, dan 33 tawanan Israel akan dibebaskan. Sheikh Mohammed menegaskan dukungan penuh Qatar terhadap rakyat Gaza.

Masyarakat Gaza menyambut pengumuman ini dengan penuh suka cita. Kerumunan warga terlihat saling berpelukan, bernyanyi, dan mengibarkan bendera Palestina di berbagai sudut kota, termasuk di luar Rumah Sakit Al-Aqsa di Deir al-Balah.

“Saya tidak percaya mimpi buruk ini akhirnya akan berakhir. Kami telah kehilangan begitu banyak orang dan segalanya,” ujar Randa Sameeh, seorang warga Gaza. Ia juga menyatakan rencananya untuk mengunjungi pemakaman Deir el-Balah, tempat ia dan banyak warga lainnya terpaksa mengubur anggota keluarga mereka tanpa prosesi yang layak. "Kami akan membangun makam baru dan menulis surat untuk mereka," tambahnya.

Rekaman yang diambil oleh AFPTV menunjukkan kebahagiaan warga yang menyambut langkah perdamaian ini. Gencatan senjata diharapkan menjadi awal baru untuk meredakan konflik di Gaza dan membuka jalan bagi pemulihan kehidupan masyarakat yang telah lama terdampak.
