WNI di Kamboja akan Mencoblos Lebih Awal pada 10 Februari 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Warga negara Indonesia (WNI) di Kamboja akan melakukan pencoblos pemilu 2024 lebih awal dari yang dijadwalkan, yaitu Sabtu 10 Februari mendatang.
Ketua Panitia Pemilihan Luar Negeri (PPLN) Phnom Penh, Roland Uly Uju menyebutkan bahwa tanggal pemungutan suara tersebut telah diusulkan dan disetujui oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Indonesia. Hal ini dilakukan karena 14 Februari jatuh pada hari Rabu, sehingga WNI di Kamboja memiliki sedikit kemungkinan untuk mendapatkan izin bekerja.
Selain Kamboja, Ketua KPU Hasyim Asy'ari menyebutkan bahwa PPLN di beberapa negara Arab juga akan melakukan pemungutan suara lebih awal yaitu pada Jumat 9 Februari mendatang.
Pemungutan suara di luar negeri dapat dilakukan dengan tiga cara, yaitu pemberian suara lewat pos, melalui kotak suara keliling (KSK), dan mencoblos langsung di tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) luar negeri.
