Pemerintah Belanda Abadikan Retno Marsudi Sebagai Nama Bunga Tulip
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Belanda memberi nama salah satu tulip dengan nama “Retno Marsudi” sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas kerja sama dengan Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi. Pemberian nama ini diberikan oleh Menteri Luar Negeri Belanda Caspar Veldkamp sebagai penghargaan dan simbol hubungan bilateral erat antara Indonesia dan Belanda dalam 12,5 tahun terakhir.
"Sertifikat ini menyatakan bahwa pada 16 September 2024, Otoritas Pendaftaran Kultivar Internasional untuk tulip, Royal General Blubgrowers Association (KAVB) di Hillegom, Belanda telah memesan nama Retno Marsudi untuk tulip harum dengan pinggiran berwarna putih yang ditanam oleh Jan Ligthart, Den Helder, Belanda," demikian tertulis dalam sertifikat yang diberikan Veldkamp ke Menlu Retno dalam kunjungan kerjanya ke Den Haag, Senin (16/9/2024).
Momen tersebut dibagikan di Instagram @retnomarsudi, Rabu (18/9). Dalam video tersebut, tampak Veldkamp turut memberikan biji bunga tulip tersebut kepada Menteri Retno.
Tak hanya itu, Veldkamp juga memberikan penghargaan "Badge of Honor for Merits" kepada Menteri Retno. Menteri Retno mengaku terhormat menerima penghargaan Golden Order of Merit tersebut.
