Presiden Joko Widodo Hargai Penyampaian Aspirasi dan Minta Demonstran Dibebaskan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Presiden Joko Widodo menanggapi sejumlah demonstrasi yang terjadi belakangan di Indonesia terkait pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada), Selasa (27/8). Dalam pernyataannya, Presiden menegaskan pentingnya penyampaian aspirasi dan pendapat dalam sistem demokrasi di Indonesia. 

Lebih lanjut, Presiden turut mengingatkan agar penyampaian aspirasi dilakukan dengan cara yang tertib dan damai. Presiden juga meminta agar para demonstran yang masih ditahan agar segera dibebaskan.

Selain itu, Presiden Jokowi turut menghargai langkah cepat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) dalam menanggapi situasi yang berkembang, termasuk pembatalan revisi Undang-Undang Pilkada 2024. Presiden berpesan agar respons cepat tersebut juga dilakukan pada isu-isu mendesak lainnya, seperti RUU Perampasan Aset.
