Kemendikbud: Sastra Akan Masuk dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Mulai Tahun Ajaran Baru
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) memasukkan sastra ke dalam Kurikulum Merdeka mulai tahun ajaran baru mendatang untuk jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), dan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA).
Kepala Badan Standar Kurikulum dan Asesmen Pendidikan (BSKAP) Kemendikbudristek Anindito Aditomo mengatakan, kurikulum merdeka memiliki tujuan utama menumbuhkan kemampuan literasi serta membuat anak-anak semakin cinta membaca dan terbiasa dengan dunia bacaan, Senin (20/5). Ia menilai, karya sastra tidak hanya meningkatkan minat baca, melainkan memiliki potensi sebagai wahana untuk pendidikan karakter.
Nantinya, sastra akan masuk ke dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dengan bentuk kokurikuler. Lebih lanjut, Aditomo menjelaskan terdapat 177 daftar judul buku sastra meliputi novel, cerita pendek, puisi, dan non-fiksi. (DHITA/ DKD)
