Brewer Indonesia Ryan Wibawa Raih Juara 3 di World Brewers Cup 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Brewer Indonesia Ryan Wibawa meraih juara tiga dalam kompetisi World Brewers Cup 2024 yang diselenggarakan di Chicago, Amerika Serikat, Minggu (14/4). Dalam unggahan di Instagram resmi (@aksi_scai), Senin (15/4), Asosiasi Kopi Spesial Indonesia (AKSI) mengungkapkan jika Ryan menggunakan tiga kopi dari tiga negara serta biji kopi Indonesia Excelsa dalam babak final melawan lima negara lain, di antaranya Austria, Jepang, Australia, Prancis, dan Republik Ceko.
Juara pertama ajang tersebut diraih oleh brewer asal Austria, Martin Wolfl. Sementara juara kedua diraih oleh brewer asal Jepang yang diwakili oleh Wataru Lidaka.
Diketahui, kopi Excelsa merupakan varietas kopi yang berasal dari Afrika dengan ciri khas rasa yang pahit dan asam yang kuat. Biasanya, kopi ini digunakan untuk membuat kopi espresso dan kopi latte. (DHITA/ DKD)
