SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Presiden Joko Widodo bermain bola bersama para pelajar di Lapangan Sepak Bola Sorido, Kabupaten Biak Numfor, Provinsi Papua, Rabu (22/11). Pertandingan sepak bola ini juga diikuti oleh beberapa menteri dan ditonton oleh masyarakat setempat.
Presiden Joko Widodo yang bernomor punggung 23 tampak antusias bermain dengan para pelajar. Tidak lama setelah permainan dimulai, Presiden Joko Widodo mencetak gol pertama. Masyarakat kemudian kembali menyemangati Presiden Joko Widodo.
Presiden Joko Widodo menyampaikan motivasinya bermain sepak bola bersama para pelajar tersebut adalah upaya untuk memberikan semangat bagi para pemain sepak bola masa depan di sana. Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa skill dan potensi anak-anak tersebut perlu dibangun sejak dini, supaya bisa terus berkembang dan berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi tingkat nasional dan tingkat internasional.
