LRT Beroperasi Normal dengan 16 Trainset pada Desember, Hanya 7,5 Menit Headway!

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Perhubungan (Kemenhub) menyebutkan bahwa mulai 1 Desember 2023, LRT akan beroperasi normal dengan 16 trainset sehingga waktu tunggu kedatangan kereta akan semakin kecil.

Direktur Jenderal Perkeretaapian Kemenhub Risal Wasal menjelaskan, Rabu (22/11), dengan beroperasinya 16 trainset, maka waktu tunggu akan berkisar 7,5-15 menit, bergantung pada keramaian saat jam operasional. Risal juga menambahkan bahwa terdapat cadangan 3 trainset sehingga total ada 19 trainset yang tersedia.

Saat awal diresmikan, LRT hanya beroperasi dengan 8 trainset, sehingga waktu tunggu mencapai 30-60 menit. Hingga saat ini, telah dilakukan penambahan unit operasional menjadi 12 trainset dengan waktu tunggu 9-30 menit.
