PLN dan ACWA Power Bekerja sama untuk Pasokan Listrik di Wilayah Sumatera, Jawa, Bali dan Madura
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT PLN (Persero) menjalin kerja sama dengan ACWA Power, perusahaan energi Arab Saudi, untuk mengembangkan PLTS Terapung di Danau Singkarak, Sumatera Barat (Sumbar) dan di Waduk Saguling Jawa Barat. Kerja sama tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dari PLTS terapung di Indonesia. Kerja sama kedua belah pihak ditandai dengan penandatanganan Letter of Intent (LoI) di sela-sela acara COP28 di Dubai.
PLTS Terapung Singkarak akan berdiri di atas 0,26 persen total luas Danau Singkarak, Sumbar. Rencananya, PLTS Terapung Singkarak akan memiliki kapasitas 77 megawatt peak (MWp) untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik di wilayah Sumatera. Sedangkan PLTS Terapung Saguling akan menggunakan 1,69 persen total luas permukaan waduk Saguling, di Jawa Barat. PLTS Terapung Saguling akan memiliki kapasitas hingga 92 MWp untuk memenuhi listrik di wilayah Jawa, Madura, dan Bali.
