Prancis Larang Merokok di Pantai dan Taman
SEAToday.com, Perancis - Pemerintah Perancis akan membuat peraturan yang akan melarang merokok di pantai, taman umum, hutan, dan di dekat sekolah, setelah Perdana Menteri Emmanuel Macron berjanji untuk menciptakan "generasi bebas tembakau pertama" pada tahun 2032.
Seiring dengan pelarangan merokok di beberapa area, pajak atas rokok juga akan dinaikkan. Pemerintah juga berencana untuk melarang "puff", rokok elektrik sekali pakai yang populer di kalangan anak muda, tetapi memiliki dampak besar pada kesehatan dan lingkungan.
Menteri Kesehatan Perancis Aurélien Rousseau menekankan bahwa kedepannya, kawasan tanpa rokok akan menjadi hal yang lazim. Ia juga mengatakan bahwa hal tersebut dapat membantu mencegah 75.000 kematian per tahun.
